DHS announced Sunday that individuals living in congregate settings are now allowed to attend employment and day programs. PAI’s goal is to offer programming to as many participants as possible on or before July 27. All participants must submit a completed Acknowledgment Form prior to return (links to PAI's Preparedness Plan and Acknowledgment Document are available below).

PAI programming remains paused due to a directive from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) on May 20, 2020. Prior to that directive we had been advised that the lifting of the Governor’s stay-at-home order meant that we could begin to resume services in June if not sooner, and we had begun intensive preparations for a return to service.

This latest guidance extends the pause in our programming period until further notice. In the May 20th communication the DHS Commissioner apologized for raising hopes for a return to programming, signaling that she is aware of the impact on individuals, families and providers. We will provide updates here, on Facebook and through direct communication as appropriate and as available.
