Caring. Helping. Sharing.
Community volunteer opportunities for young adults with autism and other disabilities.
Volunteer options for Young Adults with developmental disabilities help young people develop social skills, work skills, life skills and make friends. At PAI, we recognize the importance of giving back to the community and the satisfaction that brings. We connect young adults in our programs with volunteer options that match their interests and abilities. There are many ways persons with intellectual and developmental disability (IDD), autism spectrum disorder and traumatic brain injury can contribute to the quality of life in our community. PAI is happy to provide the support and staff coaching needed to help our volunteers give back, learn and thrive through their volunteer experiences.
Clients at PAI give back to our community through a variety of volunteer roles, such as delivering meals on wheels, helping in elementary classrooms, making blankets for an animal shelter, and other activities. We look for opportunities that match the interests, talents and special abilities of our volunteers. PAI clients volunteering in the community are supported by highly-trained staff dedicated to helping them succeed in their chosen community service activities.
